Son of a bitch

I passed out in front of the TV at around 2am, lulled to sleep by the CNN pundits. I woke up and Kerry, that pussy, had already conceded! When I went to bed they were saying that there were hundreds of thousands of absentee and provisional ballots in Ohio and Florida that wouldn't be counted until 11 days from now - what the hell happened?

Last night we were at a bar watching the results, happy that Pennsylvania was looking like it had sided with Kerry. What worried me was, looking at all the news channels' graphics, the mass of red states in the centre of the country fringed by the major cities of the coasts in blue. But nobody thought that it would be over for at least a week, I can't believe it.

So now it looks like Bush will be appointing at least one supreme court judge, and pushing his insane conservative agenda forward (which apparently a lot of people support considering that gay marriage has essentially been banned in something like 12 states). The analyst on TV is saying liberal voters should just "wait it out" for another four years - thanks a lot, Asshole. I wonder how many other countries will be taken over in the next four years? Iran, no doubt, possibly North Korea. Who will clean up that mess after Bush finally, rightfully, gets kicked out of office?
