Good lord! I've had a surreal evening, making me believe (until I get up all too soon at an ungodly hour) that life is more a game than not. So many good things have happened in the last 24 hours as to offset the bad: I'm feeling good but scared, I'm sad it looks like I can't take a job that would stretch me further than ever before (we'll see), and I'm glad to be able to shore up my friends and friendships... Life rocks, in its own strange way....
